Wow, would be typical Miguel Cotto to take on literally everyone. But I think Martinez would be too big for him, I'm not sure if I would really give him much chances in that fight. Same with Pacquiao. I'm not claiming to know it better than Emmanuel Steward, if he thinks he could make the difference in a rematch, but I do not see that one turn out very different than their first fight.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd love to see him getting a good win against Chavez Jr in spring 2011 and then a rematch against Margarito later in the year.

I think Cotto has a chance to beat Martinez. Heck, even if the odds are against Cotto, i'd still be rooting for him.

This is a chance for cotto to prove that the beatings he took from Marg and Pac didn't affect him and if he would ever fight and beat Martinez, it would give him a SECOND shot at Pac.

That is a big IF though.

You gotta love Miguel Cotto, he does not back down from a challenge. I think he should take the Martinez fight he has nothing to loose. Dibella/Martinez said only the middleweight title would be at stake and with the fight at 155, Miguel could come in at 152-153 and not be undersized. If he looses he still has big money fights with Chavez Jr. and Margs. I'm mexican but I think the does what Manny did to Margs. If he would've gone to the body the first time he knocks Margs out. I actually think Chavez is tougher than Margs he's bigger, younger and has faster hands. Cotto had a couple of rough fights but he is far from done.

Great men are great because of the risks they take. I'm also fearful for Cotto here, but i'd still root for him and hope for the best.

With the best case with him winning of course.

I wouldn't be surprised people will favor him more than Pac if he manages to win against Marz
