This is a fight I'd really like to see. Arum even mentioned that a win over Bradley would get Marquez a shot at Pacquiao for sure, so this needs to happen if Bradley gets by Alexander. Marquez could come in at a comfortable weight in this fight too, like 136, which is only 3 lbs over what he weighed in at against Katsidis.

No matter who wins, this certainly could make a fight of the year candidate.

Marquez will not beat Bradley if Bradley looks impressive against Alexander. Bradley hasn't lost a round in boxing for a long time now, and I personally think his opponents he has been fighting are good its just Bradley is great.

But now... Marquez has shown that age hasn't beaten him yet, and that he's still a very capable fighter. Most of the top guys at 140 would still give him trouble, mostly becuz of the size, strength, and speed advantages most of them have over Marquez. But when u think of Bradley, he's not much bigger than Marquez. He may be stronger but doesn't exactly have Pacquiao's punching power. He's faster, but not very accurate. And even though Bradley is more than capable of beating everyone at Jr Welterweight, a trait he takes into everyone of his fights, sometimes making his performance look weak (Abregu), is he tends to fight down to his opponents level.

The smartest thing he could do to the aging Marquez is stick and move to an easy, but boring decision. But he won't. He likes to fight on the inside. He prefers head movement to lateral movement. He's not afraid to get hit, and when u do hit him he tries to hit u back.

The fight sounds more intriguing now. It could just be that Katsidis, like Margarito was to Mosley, was just a tailor-made opponent to make an aging fighter still look great. But even so...

          Anyway, what do u think?
I've never even thought to put those guys 2gether, I like it tho.

Totally agree. Sounds as epic as any other match-up at 140

Nobody expected marquez to look like a natural WW. Dude was ripped at 150 lbs and the speed and power was there. 50/50 fight.
