Great boxers dominate good opponents. thats what Marquez fails to do. He fought 2 good boxer on his prime and his best weight but still lost. He lost to Chris John and had a draw against Pac who was a one dimentional fighter and lost a split decision. again, if he was really that good he should dominate good fighter like Chris John. he shouldnt let the judges decide the outcome IF HE WAS SO GREAT.

Marquez struggled against Barrera. he was supposed to dominate him. in paper Barrera had no chance. but the fight was close.he should dominate Barrera but fails to do it. his resume is a joke. we can talk about FACTS and JMM would still be miles short of greatness. Barrera lost to Juarez and couldn't win a round against Pac.


They were good at beating small guys at 122 and did ok at 126.

But past that they were pretty much useless.
