always hated oscar de la hoya. from the very minute i saw him back in like 96 or w.e. year it was. erik morales is 1 of my favorite fighters so i will go with him. he is the only guy 2 beat pacquiao once manny got his **** straight u know..... oscar lost most of his big fights. trinidad, mosley 2x, hopkins, mayweather, pacquiao. -
Hard to say.
Oscar was a great champion, Olympics gold medalist, and fought everyone there was to fight. He took a lot of risks, and earned some losses, but got respect for it.
Morales was the ****ing man. He single handedly got me back into boxing after not watching the sport for years. He beat the brakes off Pacquiao, and I also had him winning against Diaz.
I guess you have to go with Oscar when you bring in his Olympic pedigree, how he brought the sport back up, and the fact that he fought everyone there was to fight.Comment

On paper, you have to say De La Hoya fought the better opposition, despite losing all of them.
I, too, had Moralez beating Diaz, and he's my favorite fighter of all-time, so I'm inclined to rank him higher, but if we're talking paper trail, it's gotta go to Oscar.Comment
