Lou DiBella is ruining his top fighters!

I agree with you on that one but I blame HBO in throwing money at a guy that's relatively unproven.

I'm talking about guys like Paulie, Taylor, Green and Martinez who in a short few fights have made big names/ nice pay days for themselves.

paulie basically promoted himself. he did all the talking.

taylor is lucky he got HBO backing. he's in the same boat as berto, except he took the meal ticket instead of asking for more than he deserved against hopkins.

martinez has not maximized his earning potential. dude is charismatic and has a pleasing fighting style. I don't think he's ever been in a boring fight. why isn't guys beggin him for a fight instead of him begging others for a fight? I blame dibellla.

If Caballero couldn't hack it against a fringe contender like Litzau at 130, he couldn't hack it to begin with, end of story.

This should've been an easy fight that Caballero ended up pissing away by his unprofessional attitude.

Lou does a **** job at promoting fights but he does put his fighters in with top guys
That good for us boxing fans but doesn't help get more attention for the fighter and more fans for the sport

Arum screws people over. Goldenboy is a joke. And all the others are smaller outfits like DiBella. DiBella seems to be the most straight up guy, and he does damn well with what he has.

I'm not trying to totally **** on Lou, but he hasn't made the best decisions for some of his fighters. I find it disgraceful what he's doing with Martinez as well. Just my opinion.

Because Ross Greenberg is afraid HBO is losing its African-American base, so HBO will pay Berto whatever just to keep him around and happy.

They tried to make a Cotto fight, but couldn't pay him enough because he's already getting over a million bucks a fight against bums.
