Dibella is a god awful promoter. The only advertising I heard about Martinez vs Pwill was on boxing sites on the internet. It didnt suprise me when they released the numbers for the gate at the boardwalk and it was something like 5000. 5000 for a fight of the year candidate is a pathetic joke.

To sum it up, Pacquiao has made more in his last fight than Martinez and Bertos entire career put together.

Picking Litzau as an opponent was a poor decision but it was probably not DiBella's choice.

If Litzau is anything, he is big. You don't move up two classes and fight a guy who is huge for that division... Especially if your style and success has always depended on you being at least 5 inches taller than your opponent.

martinez did that all by himself by performing in the ring. dibella didn't do jack **** except call HBO and collect a check.

I agree with you on that one but I blame HBO in throwing money at a guy that's relatively unproven.

I'm talking about guys like Paulie, Taylor, Green and Martinez who in a short few fights have made big names/ nice pay days for themselves.
