Comments Thread For: Jeff Mayweather Admits Mistakes in Caballero's Defeat

Heading into last Saturday night the stock was pretty high on Celestino Caballero. A two-time champion in the super bantamweight division, the dynamic Panamanian had been calling out the likes of Juan Manuel Lopez and Yuriorkis Gamboa for a few years but had to settle for Minnesota’s Jason Litzau at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It was a contest that Caballero was expected to win handily but in one of the year's biggest upsets he would lose a split decision to his brawling counterpart.

A lot of this has to do also with Caballero’s attitude throughout, the more you proclaim yourself the world’s most feared man the more you believe your own hype and expose yourself.

This was the same mentality P-Williams had when he had his first fight with Quintana.

You naturally don't have defense or a heart.

Caba is walking the same path as pwilliams when he lost to quintana.he'll win one or two more in the aftermath then get put to sleep by a bigger name.mark it on ur blackberry.

Stop discrediting Litzau's win..... stop with the excuses, Caba lost straight up.
