Of course it depends on how far you want to go back, but it's not that long ago as far as Kessler is concerned. But if going out your line Floyd Mayweather is in for a considerable ratings-drop.

Rankings are all about what have you done for me lately.. and basing the rankings off of the last 18 months or so, I have to put Froch over Kessler...

With respect to Floyd... he did fight just 6 months ago.

In that case you better put Kessler over Ward and Bute.

4)bute (needs to step up the competition & step out of canada)
          5)dirrell

          thats my top 5
I agree, Bute is only their for his potential as a fighter..but he could easily (on paper) just about rank the in the top ten. I still think Froch beats Ward though.

I would put Kessler over Bute with his win over Froch.

But, I wouldn't put him over Ward...

Ward not only beat Kessler, but he stopped him... on top of the fact that he's never lost.

                      Ward never stopped him.

That was a TD caused by a headbutt, they went to the scorecards, that's a decision not a TKO.

It should have been a DQ win for Kessler because the headbutt was deliberate.
