Kessler sc****d by Froch, and got stopped against Ward

He has a close win over Froch, but it doesn't outweigh Froch's victories.

A close fight, that could have been scored to Froch.

True. But since then Andrade lost to Bute and Stieglitz has had a couple of good wins against very good opposition including Karoly Balszay.

That said you could switch them and that'd be ok with me.

If Pavlik came and fought Froch and won a SD over Froch, I wouldn't magically put Pavlik at the top of the pile.. or over Froch..

Froch's body of work and wins he has racked up, is greater than Kesslers.

And his loss is not as bad as Kesslers

And all that is still more than Kessler.

Kessler got stopped against Ward, and sc****d a decision against Froch.

That isn't enough to rank ahead of Froch.

And yet Kessler has the better resumé even if you discount Kessler's win in the head-to-head:

Resumee of Froch. 2-times champion at 168:

                Pascal (future champ at 175),
                Taylor (former champ at 160),
                Dirrell,
                Kessler (L),
                Abraham (former champ at 160).

Resumee of Kessler 4 times champion at 168:

                Siaca (champ at 168),
Mundine (future champ at 168 and 160),
                Beyer (champ at 168),
                Lucas (former champ at 168),
                Andrade,
Calzaghe (L) (champ at 168 future champ at 175)
                Sartison (future champ at 168),
                Ward (L) (champ at 168)
                Froch.

difficult to rate, but something like this

                  1)ward
2)froch (due to competition and think he would beat kessler if they went again)
                  3)kessler
4)bute (needs to step up the competition & step out of canada)
                  5)dirrell

                  thats my top 5

                    Froch.
And Roy Jones has a better resume than Jean Pascal... but we wouldn't put Roy over Pascal in the rankings right now, would we?
