He was coming off momentum for May 2009.. not May 2010.

It doesn't matter. Whatever he was coming off is a hell of a lot better than now. No way can you make a case that he is just as much a viable opponent today as he was before the Mayweather fight. A lot of people thought Shane would win. When that didn't happen a lot of people now want to pretend like he was percieved as a shot old fighter. He wasn't at the time. Now he is which is why many people have a problem with this fight.

Now come on, Reed. You're making it seem like Mosley isn't gonna caught Manny with anything big. Mosley can time Manny the same way he caught Floyd. After all, Mosley will have an easier target in front of him.

The only way Mosley wins a round is if he knocks Pac down, or hits him with something so huge it completely overcomes everyting Pac did in that round.

He will only be able to throw about 75-80, because Mosley is going to counter with the straight right, if Manny gets reckless his chances of looking up at the lights raise dramatically.

And I disagree. LOL @ winged it. Please. Jones was a master of technique. Threw perfect hooks, perfect uppercuts, combinations. Good jab. Parried as good as any boxer today. Amazing footwork. Winged it? Yeah, ok.

Threw perfect left hooks: Such as his leaping left hook which is a no no for any fighter without superb athletic ability.

Combinations: Such as 3 left hooks at one time impossible for any fighter without great athletic ability

Parried: reflexes again stemming from his unnatural athletic ability

Footwork: Signs of athleticism again.

Why dont we throw in amazing handspeed and how it all stemmed from his textbook boxing style.

He wasn't perceived that way, because we hadn't seen him fight in 15 months.

All we had to go by was his last fight.. which was 15 months prior.

There was no way to know if the lay off would effect him until we saw him fight.
