Great... than we agree that his ranking was indeed inflated.

That Mosley was indeed not as good as his rankings suggested.

And that the Mosley win, was a very good win... not a GREAT win.

Getting mentally beaten like Mosley did against Floyd is every bit as much damaging to a guy as getting beat badly physically, it might even be worse.

Floyd stripped Mosley of EVERYTHING in that fight, lots of guys are never the same after shit like that.

If we're debating between whether it was "very good" or "great" then...whatever. It's when you try to say it was just "aight" or "decent" that I have an issue with. And that was my point.

Mosley had been through a hell of a lot worse before he ever fought Floyd.

          Physically, and mentally.

If anything, it only takes away from the win, that much more.

Yeah...that was the problem. And Floyd took everything that was left.

Excuse me I figured the word when implied a measurement of time, I chose to use years. Also Mosley was considered no better than the 3rd best fighter in the division based on the fact the P4P rankings had him coming in behind 2 other fighters in the WW division. Do you feel Mosley somehow got better between his loss to Cotto and his loss to Floyd 3 years after the fact? I dont. I think Cotto beat a fresher, better version of Mosley. I dont deny Mosley was the #1 WW in rankings, but he was an inactive fighter at the time of his loss. If he had beaten Mosley 4 months after the Margarito loss I still feel Mosley would have deteriorated since the Cotto loss let alone 15 months later.

Physical sure, but I disagree mentally.

Before he put the blame on his dad in those fights, he had no one to blame but himself this go around. He had no where to go but inwards and that for sure eats at him.

Also Mosley looked like ass for years after his earlier bad defeats why would he shake off the Mayweather one in four months.

Nah... I think it was a very good win.

I just have a problem when someone starts epic'ing up the win.. and talking of all this p4p status and welterweight status... and that point, we have to ask ourselves.. what were those rankings based on.

Anyways.. how many times have I ever disagreed with you?

You could probably count them on one finger.
