I agree, this is nothing new. AA always fights the same fight. Froch even said in interviews afterwards that he was always waiting for AA to step it up a gear and was prepared for a very late, desperate onslaught.

AA's too predictable, even he knows it (remember his prefight "I must start quicker" comments). I see nothing other than an even more embarrassing defeat against Ward.

Froch deserves a lot of credit for showing he can box like a champion.

It would be funny if he smashed the granny out of Ward. Unlikely but funny.

From a die hard Abraham fan...

it is as likely as Van Damme winning his much deserved Best Actor Oscar, over Andre Dirrell.

being there on saturday Abraham def clocked carl with that late one and I panicked slightly as you don't want the fella you're supporting to be stopped at the final hurdle after fighting a great fight

in the end though two cracking fighters going at it in the ring and Froch had the better of it on the night, a deserved champion, underated, under promoted and under hyped... changing his old "slugger" style and boxing clever against a guy like abraham was not what I expected but froch showed some real maturity and style on Saturday, playing to his ohysical strengths....

well worth freezing my bollocks off for

semis should be great, have they decided a venue as yet?

froch's trainer must have noticed how much of a pus.sy abraham is......if you notice, he always reminded forch to throw the jab after abraham threw his shot.......abraham, the complete no risk taking pus.sy he is, always backed off or went into a shell......instead of taking a risk and staying at punching range...

so when abarahm got the courage to actually show a bit of desperation, he was 20 seconds away from the final bell....so little chance of getting hit clean....pus..sy

Froch is a very tough and expericned 168 pounder and very underrated. a great champion.

                  styles makes fights

                  also Froch is not featherfisted
Spot on, I rooted for abraham but I think froch won that 12th round by a slim margin. It was a total shutout IMO.

jup, it kinda reminds me of Cleverly-Murat. well, both trained by Wegner.

it was also kinda funny to see a solid man like Abraham getting outta balance so easy. lmo

Out of a WHOLE 36 MINUTES, you look for 1 punch, 1 second right at the end of the round to say, "Hey, if he threw it earlier he would have won by KO", lol gtfo...
