After that performance Abraham should sell his Lambo and buy a Zunndapp.

That way he will be finally driving a car that matches his speed and output.

A lot of Abraham's performance is down to Ulli Wegner's training or lack of it. As a short SMW Abraham needs good footwork in order to get close and should have a bob and weave style to work out of his peek a boo style. Abraham is a fan of Tyson it is a pity he was not taught to fight like him. That high hands static robot style is not going to cut it at the highest level.

I've followed most of Abraham's career and he always possessed the big punch, but he hasn't improved at all since the early days. Wegner should question his own training tactics when his fighter can't figure out a way past a jab. It was fairly basic stuff from Froch, and it worked perfectly apart from a couple of rocky moments in round 12, the only round where Abraham showed any urgency whatsoever. This time he couldn't pull off another one of his late knockouts, which he was able to do against lesser opposition.

It's back to the drawing board for Abraham if he still has the heart to do it. Changing trainers could still benefit him as he will always have the heavy hands which made him known. Take it easy for a couple of fights, and then try it at the highest levels of the sport again, and see if he will now have some answers which he couldn't find last Saturday.

Do they even give the guy sparring? He did not seem to know what to do in there.

Wegner is a terrible trainer who relies on mismatches to pad the records of his vastly overrated fighters.

About the only real skill I have seen from him is a strong arm when it comes time to throw in the towel.

Veteran trainer Ulli Wegner is very upset with Arthur Abraham's performance against Carl Froch from Saturday night in Helsinki, Finland. Froch dominated Abraham over twelve rounds their Super Six encounter. Several German outlets quoted Wegner as stating "you are a coward" to his fighter.

I hope you have better sources this time than when you recently reported AA wanted to quit the tournament, which was not true...

I wonder what kind of advice he was giving AA between rounds.

How about you get in that ring with Froch coach?

Classic quote from the trainer. This might spur him on against Ward. Let's hope it does. Would love to see an all European final

Thats isnt a nice thing for Wegner to say about AA, They are a team and they win and lose together, Imagine if Naz richardson had said that about Mosley?
