Of course it's possible. Your second statement makes no sense. Uhh, it's possible they all cheat so let's not discuss it. That's the kinda logic I admire . Not everyone wants to fight a cheater. Some don't mind and it's not hard to figure out why in each instance.

Heh, funny. I remember being trolled and Red K'd for saying that Bob Arum and Freddie Roach are both frauds and scumbags who are protecting their fighter's career because they have no confidence in his skills at all.

This is another example of it. If this fight does take place at 147, it's a joke. It was horrible when Mayweather did it, but it's even worse for Pacquiao because Mayweather legitimately could not go below 147. Pacquiao can. His trainer and conditioning coach even said so. He won't even be coming in at 147 come fight night. It's a joke.

I hope the fight doesn't happen anymore. Team Pacquiao are a bunch of frauds.

As a Pac-fan, I would love noting more then to see Manny really put the icing on the cake by soundly defeating JMM once an for all -- but 147 --no one in the world is going to give him any credit for that win. Further more Juan is not at his best when he climbs up in weight the way Manny is. That being said, if anyone deserves another shot at Manny; it's Juan. Problem is he would not fair to well at any weight above 135.


To make a 3rd fight credible with Manny, he needs to (prove) fight at 140, and beat one of the top 140 pounders in the division. If he can beat someone like Alexander, Bradley, Khan, Ortiz, Kotelnik -- in a fashion that would suggest he can be at his best or close to his best, then i would say go ahead an make it happen -- as of right now -- I would say no fight.

jmm has nothing to prove at 140 or 147 before facing pac. jmm is a liteweight period. he out connected mannny 2 bouts in a row, and if anyboyy deserves the money and the fight its jmm, win lose or draw.weights dont make fights styles do and jmm knows pacs style in and out, they can fight 100times it will always be a great fight.just because manny beats washed up welterweights doesnt mean jmm can too and none of that will change the fact that jmm knows how to fight manny ,weight classes are irrelevant when it comes to these two.

Heading into the Margarito fight, BOTH Freddie and Ariza tried to justify the catch-weight by publicly stating that Manny was a natural junior welterweight.

Alex Ariza recently stated that they just can't keep any weight on Manny, and that he has to eat 6 meals a day just to stay within the welterweight division.

But now, they will not allow Manny to fight below 147 because they do not want to "starve" him? WTF ??????????????????

And even though Manny recently made 144, he could not possibly fight unless the bout is at 147 because they strongly object to Manny having to lose 1-2 pounds..... like they made Cotto do.

What a pack of hype-job hypocrites.

A hypocrite would be somebody who holds a JMW title, and yet would not dare to fight an actual JMW. That would be a hypocrite alright. I wonder who would do something like that?

Or, a hypocrite would be somebody who calls himself P4P, and yet demands that Cotto be at 145 even after Manny had already fought at 147, and then also demand that the career-featherweight Marquez come up to 147

Manny can make 140 easy, and he would still have a huge advantage over the old age-pensioner Marquez.

The fact that Manny demanded a catch-weight of 145 for Cotto, and yet will not fight Marquez unless the fight is held at 147..... is priceless
