i like this fight @ 154, i think it would be a good technical match-up. cotto needs more boxing matches instead of slugfests.

but where is the uproar of whiners complaining that cotto is "damaged" & "too small" for sergio????

Still though, I'd watch it and root hard for Cotto
Yeah. Cotto's still trying to rebuild himself. Not sure that a Martinez fight is the right way to do it...he's just too much. I think Cotto would fight, but lose. I don't think he should go higher than 154.

If this fight is made Cotto should not weigh in more than 150-153. I dont think its smart to be any heavier. I think Team Cotto should focus on speed and endurance. Good fight!

            NO!

Cotto vs Margarito II. That sells, has history and bad blood.

Martinez vs Mayweather/Pac if Mayweather and Pac dont get a fight "signed" first.

I think Cotto should fight Berto before fighting Sergio. I know Berto and Sergio aren't even close to the same, but Cotto/Berto helps out both of them in a way. It lets Cotto get an undefeated and decent opponent under his belt, and it allows Berto to be put in a fight with a guy who's almost a household name, a good test to see how truly skilled he is. if Berto wins, it gives him another reason to say he's ready for Pacquiao, and it will help his drawing power.

And Sergio Martinez will likely outbox and stop Miguel Cotto.

this is Cotto's opportunity to climb up the p4p ladder, hel be the underdog with people saying Martinez will whoop him and if he wins itl be an upset and Cotto is right back where he belongs..the spotlight.

                    Great fight...
Make it happen... But not in N.Y. I don't want Martinez getting robbed like Mosley or Judah did.

                    VEGAS, baby!
