We're all entitled to our own opinion, and I do agree JMM is more talented, but lets face it. Pacquiao is the one who's fighting all these "bigger guys" so obviously Martinez wants a piece of the pie. It doesn't matter if Pacquiao has never passed 145 pounds at the weigh in, he chose to fight for the 154 pound title at a catchweight. So why not fight for the 160 pound title at a catchweight? Since it's something Team Pacquiao loves to do I don't see a problem with it since Martinez is on a winning streak. However since Martinez is too risky, they'll ignore him.

IMO Martinez is no fraud, a very very talented fighter. I see no problem with him going where the money is.

Mara is legit.
He can call out two fighters smaller than him because they are the only two rated higher p4p. and the weight should be met by Pac not Mara.
He earned his place and is honestly overdue.
And my money is on Mara is he ever fights Pac.
It is more cowardly to hide in catch weight land.

Williams is 6'3" and Pavlik is 6'2", Martinez is 5'10", that's 4 and 5 inch differences, less than the difference it would be against either Mayweather or Pacquiao.

Sergio is the same height as Margarito and shorter than De La Hoya and rehydrated to the same weight Margarito did.

Manny won an 8th world title at 154. SM was a 154 pounder not that long ago. Martinez would like to challenge MP for his 154 belt. So the reality is that MP's 8th world title was a sham at a CW.

MP does not need to prove himself against SM........it's ****** to think he does. I agree with you there......BUT he and the rest of his cronies should have thought of that before manufacturing an 8th world title at a CW in the JMW division. This makes Pac fair game at that weight and gives Martinez every right to bait him and call his name!!!!

People say Floyd doesnt take any challenges blah blah blah. And I am no Floyd fan, but the only real challenges for Manny outside of Mr. Boat Buyer are Marquez at 140 and Martinez at 154.
