I can see it now.. PAC fights MARQUEZ and everyone says he's avoiding a Black Slick Boxer.. or PAC fights BERTO and everyone says he's avoiding MARQUEZ because MARQUEZ gave him PAC a bit of trouble in their last 2 fights... I can see it now..

marquez has just beaten with difficulty a class C fighter in lightweight katsidis. how could he beat an all-time great pacquiao who easily disposed of gigantic class A fighters?

pacquiao was far from a brawler in '08



the fact of the matter is that they've fought twice to an absolute standstill, with the judges going either way on both fights


marquez has won more rounds than pacquiao


his style is a pefect foil for pacquiao who throws lots of punches and is generally offensive

he's just a smaller guy and to make it fair the weight will have to be lower
unfortunately manny is the cash cow and that probably wont happen

lots of experts believe manny is naturally a jr welterweight (about 138 or 139 lbs according to real experts)

according to some marquez was walking around during the week of the fight at 133, 132
in other words he's a JR lightweight




im of the opinion that a prime marquez would have handled `130 lb floyd mayweather early in his career

huge mismatches happen when a natural WW fights a natural jr LW
and that's the only thing you saw when marquez fought mayweather

hell, floyd tried his best but couldnt stop the guy.

when still a budding one-dimensional fighter, pacquiao has beaten marquez twice…can you imagine what would happen to marquez now that pacquiao is transformed into a complete indestructible fighting machine???

The first fight was a draw you imbecile. The second fight was probably the most controversial decision of the decade because Pac clearly got his ass kicked. Many analysts thought he won the first fight as well. Oh yea the new Pacquiao who refuses to take a drug test without cut off dates might be better but would still lose.

Being a fan of both fighters, I didn't have a favorite..I wanted Marquez to win, to see if he could FINALLY get his 3rd fight against Pacriod & at the same time I wanted Katsidis to win cause he fights with such determination(Gatti like determination) that he DESERVES TO BE A WORLD CHAMPION!! & especially after all he has gone threw in the past few weeks(his brothers death) & to just go in there & put on the performance he did is reason enough to be a fan of Katsidis!

¿Why did Larry Merchant insist on making Katsidis cry? What a D I C K HEAD!! Like Katsidis hasn't gone threw enough!!

Marquez is insane...he is no match for pacquiao...he struggled against a class c lightweight katsidis...pacquiao slewed with ease giants like margarito, clottey and cotto...marquez is just looking for a big payday...deep in him, marquez knows that he is no match for pacquiao.
