Two slick European southpaws going at it. How y'all see this go down, will it be competitive, a blowout, please vote.

I think Bute would win by knockout.

I assume your talking about Martinez, he's from South America isnt he? And, Bute is from Canada.

Bute KOs him, Sergio has no business at 168.

Well, Sergio was born and raised in Spain then his fam moved to Argentina. Bute is French-Canadian. Either way, they're both of European descent.

          Oh okay fair enough.

Bute puts Sergio's ass down though. People really look past the fact that Sergio even as fast and as much movement as he has still gets hit alot.

Sergio Martinez is from Argentina, which is in Europe, and Lucian Bute is from Romania, which is in Europe.

            They are both European.

Easy win for Bute because of the size factor.
I would even take G.Johnson over Martinez at 168.

I think Martinez would be winning on points but get stopped in the later rounds.

I give Sergio the edge in hand speed and foot speed, and Bute consistently facing limited brawlers makes me wonder how he'd deal with someone who can match/surpass him in skill level.

I think Bute has shown very good timing and power in some of his fights, and I could see him either landing telling blows that build up and pay off late in the fight, or catching Sergio with a big shot that ends the fight.
