JMM is mad. But props to him, it's his fearlessness and attitude that's keeping the sport alive.

Marquez is a beast, he is willing to walk into a clear mismatch.

I got truckloads of respect for that lil Mexican Warrior.

That is how a true P4P champion should behave. In fact, I just wouldn't expect that out of my guy, no matter who my guy was.

A career-featherweight, past-his-prime, goes up 4 divisions higher than his optimum weight, and takes on the best P4P fighter in the world. And even though he was noticeably slower, and physically out-matched, to the point where he couldn't get his game going and compete with the skills of Mayweather, he still did better than 9/10 of Mayweathers previous opponents.

Now, he's damn near 40yo and he wants to go up to 147 to fight Manny.

He is the gift, that keeps on giving.

        Anyone.....

        Anywhere....

        Anytime.....

        What a fkn legend.

Manny on the other hand, won't even fight someone from within his own division without a catch-weight. At JMW, he won't fight anyone from within his own division even with a catch-weight.

And now, Manny will not fight the true P4P legend, unless the fight is at 147.

Manny is not content with the fact that even if the fight was at 140 he would still have every advantage over the much older, and much slower, near 40yo Marquez.

Manny cannot compete with the skills of Marquez, so he wants to gain every possible physical advantage before he will go anywhere near JMM.

        P4P ?

        Sickening.

        Team Pacquiao.....
Still piss-scared of Marquez, since 2004

          Manny Pacquiao is a coward.....

Manny Pacquiao is a coward for claiming to be an 8-division champion, and yet being to scared to actually fight a JMW.

Pacquiao is also a coward for ducking Mayweather back in December, either that or he is a steroid cheat. He didn't want none of Mayweather or the tests, that's for sure.

Pacquiao is also a coward for demanding a catch-weight for Cotto. There are only two reasons to demand a catch-weight, either you are not good enough to compete with that fighter at his natural weight, or you are attempting to drain him to gain an unfair advantage. Both are cowardly.

And Manny "padded" Pacquiao is also a dirty coward for refusing to fight Marquez unless the fight is held at 147.

Manny "padded" Pacquiao is a joke. Top Rank smoke and mirrors.

Marquez deserves the fight but I dont know if him at 147 can beat Pacquiao. Maybe he will come in at 140?

For those of you who are completely opposed to a Manny-Marquez bout taking place at 147, would it really be a so-called.. "mismatch" if Marquez came in at 140.65-141?

Now, I wouldn't have a problem calling it a mismatch if Manny went over the weight limit by one or two pounds-we could then make a legitimate case against Manny and his team for attempting to gain an unfair advantage..

But ultimately, Manny Pacquiao and Marquez's height and weight will be virtually identical, with Pacquiao realistically only outweighing Marquez by 2-3 pounds.

So based upon the above-mentioned, wouldn't this be considered a fair bout if it ever did take place?

Its quite possible actually, and it wouldn't be far-fetched to assume both Pac and Marquez would weigh within 4-6 lbs of each other at fight night.

Personally, i see Pac slaughtering Marquez even at 140, but in boxing, we all know anything can happen.
