Manny can make 140... Freddie is turning into a sour old man. Don't understand how Freddie can demand for Cotto and Tony to come in below the weight, to level the playing field, but won't let Manny cut a few pounds (which he can easily do IMO) to create a fair and more interesting fight against Marquez. Marquez was chubby at 142 vs Fantasy Floyd. This fight needs to happen at the Jr Welterweight limit. Manny can make that no problem and Marquez would likely come in at 137-138lbs and it would make for a more intriguing match-up. To ask for the fight at the Full Welter limit is absurd.

Let it be at 147. Marquez can do ala pacquiao and weigh in at 142 or 141 and will still be consider a "welterweight" fight.

Floyd fought him at a CW of 144. Freddie ridiculed Floyd for coming in at 146 because in his words he thought Floyd could make 140 easily. Manny just weighed a little over 144 for a CW fight of 150, and they want to slow JMM right down by making him come in at 147.

Hope Arum makes Manny fight Shane or Berto at 47 instead of this garbage.

JMM wanting this fight so bad is wiling to do a 43-44 CW. He should demand 140 or he won't fight.
