  • nah, if pac really wants to cement his legacy he should fight anyone and man up, including martinez, mayweather or mosley/marquez (the 4 Ms).

Haters doesn't even understand that risk because they want pacman to get beaten by a bigger guy like sergio martinez. For heavenly sake, pac starts his career at 106 lbs. Give him an effin break. It was like, sergio martinez fighting joy jones, bernard hopkins or even antonio tarver. If haters doesn't see my point, it's up to them. For me, as a boxing fan there is no point in matching these two guys. They don't need each other. Pacman is great, and so maravilla is.
Wrong! Pac just fought for the WBC "154 Title"... He didn't weigh within the weight of the belt he was fighting for, and didn't allow his opponent to come in at 154 (though it would have made NO difference). GREATNESS? What has he done besides shown that filipinos love him... You have to look at his opponents for what they were in the ring the day they fought him... Diaz is the worst WBC champ I have ever seen. DLH looked like Ghandi when he went in there against Manny... He hadn't seen 147 in almost 8 yrs. Hatton was in fact at his right weight and most comfortable place (solid win for Pac and KO fashion).. Cotto was drained at 145 lbs, he also was showing weakness from previous fights against Margo and Clottey. Clottey has never been special by anyone's standards. Margarito was bigger but has no footwork or any boxing ability. Manny's Team have expertly manufactured his career (which you can't blame). He has NEVER, EVER, fought anyone with any kind of handspeed... Always people who lunge with terrible footwork. If he has a claim to fame is that he has honestly exposed Mexican boxers... besides JMM he has crushed all of them... but they were all slow footed, slow fisted, and easy to hit. If he fights anyone with handspeed he'll be in trouble

Martinez should be the one need to secure his legacy and man up. he needs to fight in a super middleweight division.

Manny's legacy is secured. already a future hall of famers and ATG's. you cannot say the same to Sergio Martinez.

edit: How many future HOF's Sergio beat? thats right NONE. how many ATG's he fought or beat? NONE.
Sergio needs to do what pac and floyd has done in their career if he want P4P so badly. climb in weights and fight bigger guys.

            • If Martinez wants cash $$, he will go down to 147 and Pacman will beat his ass. Pacman is the king from 140-147 . You want some, come get some at 147...

                • Ronnie is damn right. I'm with him on everything he stated in this article. People who claim that there should be Manny - Sergio should be hit hard. Just take a look at the damage inflicted on Manny by Margarito with his gloves unloaded. Manny can't, shouldn't and mustn't campaign at 154 or above. The only meaningful fight left is vs Mayweather. It doesn't look like it will ever happen though.

If the shoe was on the other foot and Mayweather held the WBC 154 title that Pac holds now, this is what we would call a "Pacterd fanboyism of logic"

king Ducker Floyd "no money" Mayweather the HOF, ATG scared "coward" holds the "WBC 154 title" while Super Congressmanny Pac, FOTY, FOTD, GOD of all GOD's, KING KONG is fighting at 147 and has a 147 title (if he paid the fees when fighting Mosley AT 147 with no catchweight). Why won't Mayweather who holds the WBC 154 title fight Martinez at 154 for a title he was forced to drop this past June of 2010? Why would we ask Pac who fights at 147 to fight at 154? Ducker Mayweather has the 154 title..... HE MUST BE SCARED. YUP, he's scared and a coward.

                      BOXING LOGIC:
Why do we ask Floyd who's not fighting at 154 and nor does he have a title at 154, fight Sergio Martinez at 154 or even 155 when Pac in fact wanted to fight at 154 and in fact has a title at that weight?

So the WBC title holder wanted to be handed (plaster free) that title and when gets called out by a REAL natural 154 fighter who held that very same title up until this past June, Pac, team and "pacterds" dwindle and backpedal like little "scaredy cat" schools girls? What happened to being the P4P #1 and fighting the best? What happened to fighting bigger fighters? Where's all the talk now that a NON "Cherry picked" fighter is calling you out?

People need to use standards, logic and reasoning as Team Pac's weak "pickings" and contradicting decisions are now being exposed and publicly called out. Again if Floyd was in Pac's very same shoes many of the "pacterds" would flip the script as they have already done several times when attempting to compare Floyd and Pac (sometimes not even knowing it). Many of you newbie's don't even realize that what you praise Pac for, Mayweather has already done but Mayweather and Pac standards are very different to some of you so Mayweather is bashed while Pac is praised for Mayweather's very same "faults". Talking about "Pathological" simpletons of ignorance.

                      Validation:
What's next for Pac? JMM or Mosley at 147? The two very same fighters Mayweather was bashed for post fight for beating. Now Pac wants a natural 130lber and an old man next.... hmmm this sounds familiar...... The irony.

At the end of the day, Martinez>Mayweather>Pac

I want Martinez and Floyd in the ring while Pac can again fight his weak "selected" fighters (again).

In my books Floyd technically clowns Pac and I want to see a real challenege for Mayweather. His name is Martinez.
