      Bob Arum refuses to negotiate with GBP, he said that none of his fighters will fight a GBP linked fighter, so it's out of question unless Arum picks up Amir for his stable.

          whenever i've seen this fight mentioned i;ve always thought same trainer=can't happen.plus the fact its top rank and gbp.have there been any other instances where 2 boxers both trained by the same guy have fought and wot happens? unless 1 of them leaves roach-which i cant see happening especially manny.i do remember though ,the night manny fought david diaz,khan was fighting the usual blown up flyweight frank warren was matching him with in the u.k. after the fight he said he wanted to fight pacman and thought he would beat him! this is b4 he got ktfo and moved to the wildcard

            Khan has no chance against Pacman, the Trainer certainly knows better!

            If Pacman fights Marquez, the african-american boxers will protest;

            But, if Pacman fights Mosley then they will accused Pacman of fighting and old boxer softened up by Mayweather!

            And so that leaves Berto at 147lbs or Sergio at an acceptable catchweight!
            Forget Mayweather, he is simply not interested...in losing!

              Amir don't need this joke of a coach(Roach has been pissin' me off with his corny sound bites for a while now)...."The Naz" and Amir would make a good team anyway.....I really hope that those 2 get to work together one day

                  Freddie roach will obviously favour the fighter that he has worked with for 10 years or so and the same fighter who has made him a millionaire..... its common sense. Khan would have a better chance at beating mayweather than pacquiao anyway. I don't think any1 is close to beating pacquiao below 150 at all, including mayweather.

                    good fight for Khan, when he is 24, 25 or 26. Pac is only 31 years old. With nobody at Welterweight or Lightwelterweight. Would this be a good fight?

                      I'm a big Khan and I'm sure that this fight would be competitive and exciting. But end of the day you have to be realistic. In the present, I got Pacquiao winning mid rnd stoppage. However, give it 2 more years and you got a much closer fight. Khan's chin has still got question marks, but he's a 100% new fighter under Roach, much better defence, footwork, better boxing brain. I'm not trying to be like "Wazaa" here lol, but generally ppl do over-critisise him. Guy has come a LONG way since the prescott fight, takes alot of guts/bravery to step in the ring with a legend ie Barrera only 2 fights after, regardless if he was shot. Then to win a world title against a mechanical yet resilient champ in Kotelnik. Goota give credit/respect where its's due.
