There's a reason the only future opponents Arum has mentioned for Chavez Jr. are Cotto and Foreman. If Chavez is going to lose in a step up fight, it has to be someone Arum can continue to make money off of. 80 years old and just as greedy as ever.

One of the mandatories to the WBC middleweight title, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., would love to get a shot at the full champion, Sergio Martinez. Chavez is the WBC "silver" champion at 160-pounds. He is going to fight Pawel Wolak on December 4 in Anaheim, California. Like many others in the sport, he watched Martinez destroy Paul Williams last Saturday in Atlantic City. He was shocked that Martinez was able to end the fight in two rounds.

Jeez Julio, you are the man. I have seen absolutely nothing to indicate that you are ready for Martinez as yet, but still, props for walkin the walk.

Makes a joke of the "experts" that slagged Chavez for months askin "when you gonna step up?..... you coward" Boxing is a learning curve, and you have to crawl before you can walk.

ALL of the guys that have been openly slagged for being a coward have stepped up to the plate, except for Canelo and David Haye, and obviously that will happen because we are all well aware of his schedule. Canelo is not ready yet, but he is a kid, and he has started taking baby steps.
