Why the hate on Berto? I mean if not Berto who is there you think Manny should fight then? We all know Martinez is out of the question and Mayweather is in vacation or busy getting Married. IMHO you would want JMM to fight at 140 to weight drain Manny.

This unification bout is way better than pac-mosley by a thousand miles.

Manny doesn't seem obsessed with the money, need it much, or like some other guys in the business. It's a sad state in boxing when the mentality is increasingly just taking the biggest money fight, promoters have too much say and they're mentality is spreading.

        You're kidding right????

i agree. Berto is a good fight. He is young and raw. He will also get a chance to earn his money against Pac and actually make some for HBO for a change.

Wow how ****** r some of you?? Actualy thinking this fight is good? Tell me how so?? Berto has NOT faced any elite fighter, he struggled with collazo for Christ sake and collazo is nowhere near pacquiao lmao so tell me what would PAC do to him?? Berto even looked unsteady against Quintana (yes I know he was out of the ring for a while and Yes he got the tko but he looked off) he can't look that way for 1 minute in the ring with PAC of else he gets the hatton treatment

Let's noT forget pacquiao is a southpaw....yeah! Berto isn't ready sorry, let Berto vs mosley happen, least he fights someone with a name and who can be challenging and gain some good experience ( I know Mosley is like 72 but it's still a good experience for Berto), not go up against the man himself

If he had any defense to go along with his hand and foot speed maybe, but Pacquiao will feast on him.

That said if he fought Berto at least it wouldn't be another slow ass plodder. Solid win to have.

Nobody wants weight drain everybody first off. However, everyone does wanna see this fight.

Y was it ok for gatti vs ward to happen like 3 times but people r ******ng for this??

Pacquiao didn't knock jmm out to say "hey there's no reason for this fight to happen"

PAC needs to convincingly beat JMM once and for all

Fuck this shit, Pacquiao may as well just fight Chavez Jr as they've both proven jack shit, aren't even close to being elite fighters and have plenty of holes in their game.

I still think depending on how well Marquez does on Saturday, he would be an ideal choice at 140lbs.
