they were saying that martinez doesnt have that kind of power either but look what he did. ward would be fighting a career jr middle and martinez fights with his hands down low and he has a tendency of visiting the canvas a lil too often.

alot of ya'll guys are obsessed with size. i believe size only makes a difference when the talent and/or skill level is equal. and it doesnt matter that pirog has less than 20 fights, the dude has skill. he can fight, its not like chavez jr. martinez needs help, he needs someone to carry him to stardom

Martinez showed good power in his Bunema and Cintron fights. Anybody with common sense knew he would be capable of hurting Williams aside from Williams worshippers who thought he was immortal.

Ward on the other hand is an average puncher at best, perhaps even outright featherfisted.

Martinez still don't have that kind of Power, it is the punches you don't see coming that gets the KO's and he caught Williams with something he didn't see coming

Power a lot of times is OVERRATED and UNDERRATED by fans

I agree though a fight with Pirog makes absolutely no sense and that is not a PPV people would pay to see if Martinez is looking to move to PPV

Martinez should stay within the 154-160 division. The MW division is weak, there are no big names. Martinez and Pacquiao should definitely be next imo. At a catchweight around 156.

I think Martinez would humiliate Cotto. Martinez vs Mayweather at 154 would be interesting.
