Carl Froch constantly shows poor sportsmanship

Froch is an entertaining character.

He biitches like crazy about the location, then gets Helsinki, Finland as a result of his efforts.

He's just a competitive guy who likes to talk and feels victimized at times, but he laces them up against some pretty fierce guys.

Nothing wrong with that.

Both were close fights imo. Its funny that everyone trashes Froch's style but no one has been able to dominate or look great against him. And hes been fighting top notch opponents.

I thought Taylor more or less won 8 rounds before getting stopped.

I'd pretty much agree. The difference is speed was astonishing.

But Froch finally timed Taylor right, and pulled one out of the fire.

Some fans have a female tendency to get emotional about what fighters say in the buildup to fights. Fact is, look at Froch's recent opposition and tell me it doesnt command respect.

like others have said i dont mind people trash talking and talking themself up aslong as they back it up....when you look at frochs last few opponents nobody can deny he is backing it up...froch is not the first person to look for excuses for a defeat and he sure as hell wont be the last...i have alot more respect for froch then i do haye....haye talks, talks and talks and then fights...............AUDLEY HARRISON!!!

how many boxers today would have made a first defense of there world title against someone as good as jermain taylor in there own back yard??? it dont matter what happened in the first 8 rounds because in the 12th taylor got ktfo and thats all that matters....

i disagree i dont think froch "clearly lost"....you have to win a world title you cant steal it....all dirrell did for 10 rounds was hold, run and spoil...he even dived to the ground a couple of times to avoid punches ffs!! very tough fight to score because you had 1 guy doing a usain bolt impersonation and another guy coming foward and swinging at thin air...tbh i think a draw would have been the fairest result...
