Carl Froch constantly shows poor sportsmanship

He has the worst mouth in boxing, except for David Haye.

It's okay to trash talk in the James Toney way, because it's funny and not really meant to degrade or hurt an opponent. But Froch goes well past what I would call "normal" trash talk.

After the Kessler fight, which I thought he clearly lost 7 rounds to 5 because he simply didn't DO enough, he whined and bitched because he felt he was robbed. He's still crying about it, in the buildup to the coming fight with Abraham. Carl should have been a good sport and given Mikkel the credit for being the better man that night.

He used to whine about Calzaghe not fighting him, but that time he hadn't accomplished enough to be a worthy opponent for the Pride of Wales.

Now he's calling Abraham a "dirty" fighter, but I've never seen Arthur resort to a lot of dirty tactics, while Froch himself likes to rabbit punch and use his elbows.

I'm hoping Abraham knocks him out - it's what he deserves for all his false pride. Carl is a tough but somewhat limited boxer lacking in real athleticism and talent.

BUT i agree with every letter, every word, every sentence and every paragraph of this post.

Carl Froch is a complete and utter douche bag and deep down i think he knows he's not elite.

Don't forget that he kept saying that the reason he lost to Kessler was because he was mentally disrupted due to the Volcano in Iceland. He also refused to drive 10 hours there and demanded a private jet which he eventually got.

Also before they picked Finland he was threatening to drop out of the Super 6and not face Abraham if he didn't get his way.

Mikkel went into his Ward fight with blurry vison in his left eye which got even worse during the fight and didn't quit. He had eye problems during the Froch fight and still toughed it out. Not sure how you can insult Kessler he has proven himself to be tough time and again.

I do understand what you are saying man. He can get way over the top to the point where you want to see him get his a$$ kicked. He is a guy willing to take the hard fights though, so that will always trump his attitude. In other words, as long as he is willing to try to back up his words, he still has my respect as a fighter.

It is the talkers but not doer's that really get under my skin.

Some fans have a female tendency to get emotional about what fighters say in the buildup to fights. Fact is, look at Froch's recent opposition and tell me it doesnt command respect.
