That was a weak rebuttal from Roach.

But then again, Hopkins comments were counter-productive.

Hopkins shouldn't have mentioned race or color, because he lost all credibility when he did that. Hence why Freddie mentioned Clottey, etc, to counter.

Hopkins should have stuck to style/condition.

Manny does not face fighter's who are on top of their game, and he does not face slick boxers/counter-punchers.

That post sums this whole situation up exactly. People are only upset because he mentioned race, which, btw, doesn't make him racist. I just want to see Pacquiao in the ring with somebody who can make the fight competitive, regardless of race.

Yeah, but you forget to mention that Morales moved up to 135 lbs to fight Raheem and Morales, who lost, was completely ineffective at the higher weight. So Morales moved back down to 130 lbs. (his optimum weight at the time) to fight Pacquiao. Also, Pacman at the time was not fighting at 135 lbs and on top of that, no money was to be made against Raheem, whom nobody even really remembers anyway. And to add insult to injury, Raheem lost in his very next fight with Acelino Freitas and no point for Pacquiao to fight Raheem then.

So, in short, your argument has no merit to this discussion...

Manny would be lucky to land even one clean shot. And Mayweather will beat him to the punch everytime with either one of the best jab's to the stomach in recent memory, or the best right-hand lead in the game..... and Manny will be frustrated and countered into submission because every time he opens up with more than one punch his two-handed punching style will be savagely exposed.
