Hopkins rant about pac avoiding afro-american"slick" boxers like Sugar ray leonard, as he puts it, is absurd! How many boxers TODAY are like SRL or Pernell whitaker besides Foyd mayweather???? Berto and Bradley could only wish they have half the talent that leonard, whitaker and mayweather possess.
I forgive hopkins because I know the guy is much more clever than that and is probably just trying to get his friend/partner mosley another shot. But mosley is faaarr from "slick" ! Shane's always been an agressive fighter like berto and bradley...only this time he's passed it and over the hilll.
Hopkins, if you really believe that we currently have "many" talented elite slick boxers like leonard besides mayweather, then the next thing you'll probably be telling us is that the Heavyweight div is full of afro-american elite fighters like tyson and holyfield and that the klitschkos are avoiding..lol Shake yourself, hopkins!

Hopkins has been kept away from top Filipino boxers...
[QUOTE=BIGPOPPAPUMP;9663138]Freddie Roach, trainer for Manny Pacquiao, has responded to the recent claims that were made by Bernard Hopkins. According to Hopkins, Pacquiao has been kept away from top African American boxers who fight with a slick style. Hopkins believes the slick style of a top African American boxer, like Floyd Mayweather Jr., would easily beat Pacquiao. However, the list of possible candidates for Pacquiao's next fight is mostly comprised of top African American boxers.
Hopkins has been kept away from top Filipino boxers with a Pinoy style of boxing...I believe the Pinoy style of boxing would easily beat Hopkins, like Donaire or Pacquiao... hahaha

Does bhop even know what he's asking?
How many "Black Fighters" that are "Slick" and are at "147 lbs" ... not that many (only FLOYD)... so why is HOPKINS saying PAC is avoiding this group of people when there is only 1 of them.. and besides PAC called out FLOYD but FLOYD don't want to fight.. so there you have it..
