Hopkins is just trying to secure a fight with his buddy shane mosley. It was a ****** comment tho. But its know big deal like people are making it out to be. Pac is the best fighter p4p in the world. I say 1.pac 1A. Mayweather then Sergio Martinez. The race comments are ****** though. Lets get back to boxing.

It's all quite simple to decipher without getting all defensive. He's merely stating what everyone has already observed, that the fighters Manny's fought didn't have excellent defensive and boxing skills.

The majority of Manny's opponents have been face forward fighters who just liked ****ing with hardly a modicum of defense or great ring generalship attributes.

It wasn't a bad choice of opponents, per say, because it made for some interesting and exciting fights. They just were not pure boxing geniuses fighting with a full deck.

You know, what i think Bernard meant about his comment isn't really about race but mostly about style. I think the fans wouldn't really flame him as much if he were to have said that, " Pacquiao doesn't fight no slick boxers." instead of " pacquiao doesn't fight african american boxers".

thing is, given the standard boxing commision requirments for a fight in the u.s. (not the b.s. blood testing), pac was game to fight mayweather from the very beginning.

Hopkins just said this to try to sell the whole this is something Pac has never done b4 for a Shane fight. Shanes speed might have caused probs a few years ago but at this point hes clearly only gonna be dangerous the first couple rounds. They will sell Shanes speed as dangerous but he didnt look any faster than cotto when they fought. And even tho shane is competitive early he doesnt know how 2 finish even if he lands a lucky shot. He can hit Pac but is also too hittable 2 be competitive. Another fight to make Pac look like some unbeatable legend. Agree to random OST testing already. I wonder if the Shane fight will even get a million buys.

Man, Clotty didn't make any sense economically. Roach is now spinning Mosley. Roach has been saying Mosley is shot and is another destruction for Pacquiao and now he's still good. The fighters Pacquiao has fought have presented some danger in the form of power but he has been able to handle it other then that Pacquiao has every single advantage including size. Because of speed and footwork and his opponents lack of it the Pacquiao smaller size makes a lot easier for him to operate. Pacquiao could have fought Mosley before he fought Clotty but I don't think Pacquiaos team wanted to put Pacquiao in with Mosley right after Mosley beat Margarito but after Mayweather made Mosley look old and the Mora fight team Pacquiao feels more comfortable with it. But promoters do it all the time the problem is team Pacquiao denies it when the truth is Pacquiao hasn't fought any slick fighters whatever the reason is.

i'm mexican and how the hell are mexicans the best in boxing? i can name black,white,and italian fighters that have beaten mexicans all their careers.

well, i can name alot of mexicans that have beaten slick black AA fighters...there are more dominant mexicans then any other race in the lower weights below jr welterweights. and anything above welterweight is dominated by european boxers...and those europeans have beaten slick AA boxers.
