Has anyone else noticed that whenever there is someone out there that has some talent the Mayweathers always come and dicredit those guys. Everytime there is a bit of a threat and maybe Floyd does'nt seem so impressive anymore they start to hate. they come in full effect from every angle with all this BS. Nobody knows who is better unless they fight each other dum dum. The Mayweathers do this so Floyd won't have to fight that guy now. If they convince everyone they are better without actually fighting, like they usually do, than they can beat anyone I guess. I'll say this niether floyd or Pacquiao would've ever stepped in the ring with Williams. If they actually did niether one would've been able to do what Martinez did. Plain and simple.

I'm surprised Jeff Mayweather didn't say Martinez is not better than Pacquiao because Martinez is not on A-side meth

Manny Pacquiao has fought two fighters mayweather has obviously ducked.

            1. Miguel Cotto
            2. Antonio Margarito.

When I break down Mayweather and Pacquiao I see this -
Mayweather doesn't hit hard enough to make Pacquiao respect his power. The type of fighters Mayweather has had the most trouble with in his carer are Volume punchers (Jose Luis castillo) and speed fighters (Zab Juddah).

Pacquiao is a larger volume puncher then Jose Louis Castillo, the major differences in Jose's and Pacquiao's volume is this, Pacquiao hits harder then Jose Luis, and he is much more of an educated Volume puncher. He has much more technical skill then Jose Luis Castillo , and he throws more.

Pacquiao is also noticeably faster then Zab, but more importantly he has discipline. He's not going to just quit his game plan as soon as he gets hit a few times.

Mayweather is also the perfect opponent for Pacquiao because he is probably the greatest counter puncher of all time. Pacquiao has had the most trouble with Marquez, but that was a totally different Pacquiao. He's become stronger at higher weight classes and his right hand has visibly become greater now then it was when he fought Marquez.

The real fact of the matter is, Pacquiao has a higher chance of actually taking this fight because of the type of person he is. He will actually fight people that can possibly beat him. Floyd is the complete opposite. Floyd will at best take a fight when it is close (I stress the word close) to being an even fight.

Pacquaio would get Ko'd at 154 against martinez. This is true, I'm not detesting that, but Mayweather wont even take that fight. If he did, I believe he would lose via unanimous decision. I believe that he would ultimately take flight in the ring and finish the twelve rounds no matter how much the crowed boo's or how bad for boxing that would be.
Now that's what you call un-biased assesment.
I doubt if Pac can beat Sergio too due to a disparity in size. Pac already said he was just lucky to remain standing after that liver shot from Marg.

If Pac fights Sergio, then that would be the second time i'm going to say he's on a deathwish and a man who does not fear any man in the ring.

            A total opposite of floyd.

            Green K bro.

He may not be a big puncher, but I will tell you this. He always, 100% of the time, will make an opponent think twice about playing recklessly against him. He has enough power, timing and accuracy to always get respect.

Just don't make the Hatton fight as an example as it was the ringpost that did it...

If anyone thinks Martinez is more skilled than either of those two guys, you don't know **** about boxing. Martinez might beat one of those guys or both of them but that is because of size, not skills. Martinez is a great fighter but he is not once in a decade or era type talents that Pac or Floyd are. Sergio Martinez's come around all the time in the sport.

Fact is this fight would be impossible to make nowadays. A lot of idiotic boxing fans are against catchweights when this is entirely up to the fighters coming to an agreement. A small fighter fighting a big opponent has become meaningless. No wonder boxing has become a niche sport. Idiots are more interested in silly technicalities than seeing actual fights.
