pac is good with his feet and a fast south paw but thats it. he has no jab,no head movement,and no defense.he looks different because he's in there with all these slow ass come foward,old,shot,no jab,and war battered fighters.if he ever mans up and fight floyd it will be a total embarrassment. easy work.

The other thing to notice is this....with the exception of Hatton (who was having alot of success despite getting poleaxed) the guys Manny has fought...Cotto, Clottey, Margarito....none of them hold on the inside.......Clottey shells up and Margo and Cotto just throw....they are not the type of fighters who hold and maul on the inside. When you can't or won't do that PAccy can tee off on your ass......it's different if the opponent starts holding and grabbing Pac after taking shots rather than just opening up like a FOOL......

jeff is on point. williams was getting caught in the first martinez fight,the cintron fight too. pacquiao will not be able to do to martinez like he did to cheato but martinez will look like a ameteur to the superior skilled mayweather jr. wether you like floyd or not he is by far the most skilled in this era.

It would really depend on how MArtinez looked physically coming to 54. If he looked ok i would have to give Manny his props.....no doubt.

It's kinda smart if you think about it because he can pretend the lowest he can go is 156, and then blow up to 170, keeping his speed, all while giving him at a huge advantage on fight night.

Again I'm not buying those comments as well as Manny wants it under 150 because it's both trying to lure the other into making a dumb mistake.

Pretty much what I've been saying. Williams, like a lot of other fighters, is a gambler. Except he tossed his dice one too many times in the ring and crapped out.

Almost all boxers are gamblers, they fight the best and they take on bigger men than themselves like Pac.

Floyd has never done that. Floyd never gambled on his career since then. FLOYD TOOK ALL THE EASY WAY OUT and a lot got conned into it thinking he is this special. ( i know, i was one of those that got robbed)

It would be clever....but knowing how pissed he was about the CW in the Williams fight and the fact he was 175+ it would seem implausible he could do it easily.

As a big fan of Manny, that is my biggest fear if he ever faces Floyd.

Not because you just posted this, but I've always thought selecting the right ref would be key in either of those fights.

If it's some Andre Ward ****, then Pac would lose pretty widely to both of those guys.

This is why I'm glad Pac has Roach in his corner because Freddy will make sure neither of those guys keep doing that throughout the fight by getting the right guy to prevent that from happening.

I say this because it will be one sided (clinching) and if it is...then it's not inside fighting...it's holding. Refs, atleast the good ones, always say if you don't engage or fall into that type of fight, as soon as they grab they will break it up...but if you try to fight on the inside....they won't break it up. Manny won't engage in that fight, and if Floyd or Martinez keep doing it...they will be penalized...albeit if it's the right ref.

nobody is in the class of mayweather. no even no jab,no defense pacquiao. floyd maybe a total jackass outside the ring but inside he is by far the best complete fighter in this era.he'll say that he's not thinking about boxing then go on vacation then come off and whip ass then go back anytime he wants.
