I believe anyone with a passion for the sport can make a good trainer. So basically anyone who has boxed and been successful would fit that perfectly. I think that Eubank and Tyson would make brilliant trainers. For one tihng, if nothing else, they could pass on some of their passion and determination along with love for the sport onto some of their fighters. And you never know, we may end up with some decent fighters in the future.
Btw Teddy Atlas did help Tyson way early on in his career.Comment

Eubank's worked with some pretty unknown trainers though, Patrick Ford/Maximo Pierret trained him at Gleason's Gym whoever they are, Ronnie Davies trained from 1990-1995 and to be honest I don't know anybody else he's trained. Dennis Andries (who else has he trained?) and Maximo Pierret trained Eubank at the end of his career. But I reckon the Eubster didn't need trainers, I reckon he had instinct himself.Comment

Of course he needed trainers to fight properly. They would have had some sort of input into the success of his career. Not even the god tyson can go without trainers. And we all know what happens when fighters change who trains them dont we. They go down the ****ing drain. Just like Naseem Hamed for example.Originally posted by JUYJUYEubank's worked with some pretty unknown trainers though, Patrick Ford/Maximo Pierret trained him at Gleason's Gym whoever they are, Ronnie Davies trained from 1990-1995 and to be honest I don't know anybody else he's trained. Hamed never KTFO Buckley, the first fight was a boring fight that went the distance and the second one was a premature stoppage when Buckley had a fit afterwards because he wanted to carry on and was perfectly fine.Comment

come on now anorak eubank could of 'probably' been a 4 weight champ if he wanted and without a trainer no doubt, easy as pie dont u tink julesComment

Eubank is too much of an attention whore to be a trainer.
He needs to be the main man at all times.
He would probably come into the ring in between rounds and instead of giving his fighter tips, he'll start striking poses.Comment
