(They will duplicate what Sugar Ray Leonard- Lalonde did. A catchweight with two weight titles at stake.
You can`t question boxing rules and history with your pure imaginings.)Last edited by ThunderWolf; 11-24-2010, 02:32 PM.

Good to see a Pac fan focusing on valid criticism of his inflated superman status.
If Floyd fought for the 154 and 147 titles ay catchweights the boards would be full of Floyd is a phoney threads.
Pac is an amazing fighter, but if he was as honest and decent as he makes out to be, he would not have fought for titles.
IMO, belts in boxing have been irrelevant for quite some time. Pac isnt the 154 champion. He hasnt actually fought at 154 yet.
And im not sure he is the best 147 in the world either. I believe Floyd would beat him.
Hes great but he is no way a 8 time world champion.

Good question.
Martinez isn't THAT much bigger than Margarito. I think he weighed two or 3 more pounds than Margarito did on Saturday, and keep in mind that he didn't put anywhere near as much weight on as Margarito did during the rehydration period. The size argument is bullsh#t quite frankly. I'd understand if he came in that fight at like 170+, but he came in weighing modestly more than Margarito, and that's with Margarito cutting weight to 150. Hell both have been around the same weight(147-154) for their entire careers
The truth is that his style and physical attributes are more dangerous to Pacquiao than his size.

I still think the Cotto win is one of the best in Manny's career but he had an opportunity to fight the #1 guy at 147 and never did. So when they mention 8 titles blah, blah...whatever. Same with Floyd. They manufactured a title for Oscar at 154 before Floyd fought him and Gatti was not the man at 140. In today's era of boxing, all these multiple division belts mean squat.

BTW I love how you are stalking me via your sig. Do you realize how pathetic you look?
Didn't you once claim that the Cotto and Margarito fights were for the linear championship? Dumb ,Dumb, Dumb.
Didn't you also say you were "embarrassed as an African Ameican man because of Hopkins? You: "What will massa think!"
Drop the cheesing and soft shoe act. It's not cute. And quite frankly, you are more embarrassing to yourself than Hopkins ever will be.
