    Grow up kid.
Every fighter normally drains himself the night before the fight in order to make weight. Some more than others. They may then rehydrate themselves for the fight which is typically the next day. However, if a fighter has to lose a massive amount of weight (loss of muscle) he will not rehydrate back to his typical physique (De La Hoya fight). The fighter unable to rehydrate back to his typical weight or physique will be drained and severley weakened. Don't BS me, the posters or yourself.:wank:

    • Sergio got Dibella in his ear . . this fight WONT happen, Pacquiao move up to 154? i cant see that. . Martinez needs to move on from that dream, i understand he wants that big money fight but Manny cant blow up to 154, i dont think he can. . i could see Floyd goin to 154 and fighting Sergio but not Manny, but i dont think wel be seeing Floyd in a boxing ring anytime soon, hes too busy racking up felonies on his way to the courtroom.

i want the Pacquiao-Marquez trilogy at 140lb, Pacquiao said he doesnt think fans will watch it. . Bob Arum prolly told him to say that nonsense.

the last fighter to give Pac a competitive fight was Marquez, both of their bouts were epic, with alot of action, so it kills me when ppl on here saying "Marquez doesnt deserve it" but at the same time say Berto deserves it . . come on

Margarito didnt deserve it but his large following had something to do with those great PPV numbers, Berto has no following, Mosley has looked like crap in his last 2 fights plus Mayweather already shredded him, he also beat Marquez but at 147lb

the first in line to get at shot at Pacquiao should be Marquez at 140, second the winner of Alexander-Bradley.

Martinez dominate win and calling out of Pac exposed him for
        sure now.
Arum making excuses about Pac being hurt, Roach
and Ariza not even mentioning Martinez. Pac is the ultimate
cherry picker. Catchweight fights with defeated and damge
fighters. Of course Manny is looking good against them guys
because none of them were technical fighters. The last technical
guy Manny fought (JMM) still shadows Manny wins over him.
Now I am sure that after Juan Manuel Marquez, Arum and Roach
took the safe route and just set Manny up like the dating game.
do you read what you're posting here? lolz...safe route my ass...if fighting bigger stronger men is safe route what do you call the route that FLOYD took?...lolz you *****'s trying to twist facts again

          WHY IS THAT ?

          ANSWER MY QUESTION, Lip.........

          Either.....

a.) Manny is a genuine JMW, and should fight Sergio at 154

          or.....

b.) Sergio is too big for Manny, so the vacant JMW title that Manny won against an undeserving mediocre welterweight bum..... IS WORTHLESS !!

WELL, WHICH ONE IS IT ?

Is Manny an 8-division titlist as 60 minutes proclaimed last night ?

          OR ISN'T HE ?
What is wrong with you and spamming this ****** post? How about C? None of the above. He won a vacant 154 lb title at a division he should not be fighting in. Take it for what you will. Considering your seemingly incredible bias against Pacquiao I already know how you'll respond. Enjoy kid.

There usually is not a fight night weight limit unless it is imposed and signed per contract. Pac vs Clottley did not reveal fight night weight and Clottley looked smaller than normal, so maybe team Pac & Arum placed/imposed fight night weight limitation on Clottley. Hey you might be on to something.
You are just completely ignorant and didn't understand my post. To imply you know more about boxing history than me is laughable. And Clottey was not a WW that night lmao. They had same day weigh in back then, these days its the day before. What does this mean? Back then, the weight you weighed in at is more or less what you fight at. If Armstrong, who started at a much higher weight than Pacquiao, fought a 160 pounder then the guy would weigh 160 on fight night. If Pacquiao fights a 160 pounder, the guy will likely be a super middleweight or more. You are a complete idiot though judging by your posts and theres really no point in debating this so take care.

2 ignorant posters shot down in a row. Awesome. Night BS.

Than give yourself an uppercut, idiot, because the answer was " B ".

b.) Sergio is too big for Manny, so the vacant JMW title that Manny won against an undeserving mediocre welterweight bum..... IS WORTHLESS !!

So, Manny is NOT an 8-division titlist, and you know it

Thanks for being the only one with enough balls to at least attempt to answer that question ^^

lol in your opinion its worthless. Thats why I said take it for what you will . He won it, not against the best opponent but he won it and shouldn't even be at the weight in the first place. I give him props. Is it the best? No. Worthless? Not at all. Now I'm going

So imposing weight limitations don't affect fighters (losing musle doesn't matter). You are now the new expert on this topic. You must be sucking your knowledge out of B Arums pipe.

                  • too many haters and *****'s on this thread haha....i wish manny could come up at 154lbs with his speed intact...but reality is at 150 he looks sluggish...thats why his team said after margarito they will go back to WELTERWEIGHT!...now what do these haters dont understand about moving back to welterweight? they fought 1 time in super welterweight to check if manny can handle the weight...it appears he cant...so WTF! is wrong with going back to WELTERWEIGHT?...

                    • Manny can't keep going up in weight. He looks good a ww stay there, or go back down to 140lbs. There's a lot of competition there.
