I remember Pac fighting David (the weakest Title holder @ lightweight) Diaz for 2 million when he had a guaranteed 8 million dollar payday with Marquez for Marquez vs Pac III. As long as the fight would be in his advantage weight wise & with a fighter that was convinient to his style the fight would be possible. Don't BS yourself or the readers of this blog.

        Manny Pacquiao.....

You are a FKN COWARD, for being interviewed by 60 minutes and stating that you think that you are the greatest fighter of all time, for beating an undeserving mediocre welterweight bum for a JMW title, whilst only coming in at 144..... and then ducking a real fighter like Sergio Martinez.

You are nothing but an over-rated Top Rank hype-job.

It is plainly obvious why Arum engineered the Margarito money-fest.

Because Arum is well-aware that the day Manny actually fights Mayweather will be his last payday, and it will be the end-of-the-line for the Manny-train. Manny will get what Williams got..... EXPOSED !!

Actually, Manny has already been exposed, by Marquez..... and if Manny fights Mayweather he will get what Marquez got.
Wow just wow! Pac expose by marquez just like hatton, cotto, and margarito, Why pacquiao still beating bigger fighter than him. I remember everytime pac fights bigger fighter they always said he will get lose because opponent are much stronger after pac beat their asses pac only fight shot fighter! which one is it? PTHETIC ARGUMENT JUST BIG TIME HATER

Why would you comment on my post, but not bother to even correct it?
Because youre a fool who commented like 5 times on 1 page, 3 times in a row no less. All bull****. If I were to point out everything wrong in your post I'd be here all day. That may be fine for you, its not fine for me.

Martinez>Pac>Mayweather. Pac possibly beats Sergio but I feel Martinez is just too big.

              You are full of ****.

Because, you admit that you saw at least three of my posts - hell, you even replied to two of them - and yet, you have slagged me, without even attempting to answer my question.

              WHY IS THAT ?

              ANSWER MY QUESTION, Lip.........

              Either.....

a.) Manny is a genuine JMW, and should fight Sergio at 154

              or.....

b.) Sergio is too big for Manny, so the vacant JMW title that Manny won against an undeserving mediocre welterweight bum..... IS WORTHLESS !!

WELL, WHICH ONE IS IT ?

Is Manny an 8-division titlist as 60 minutes proclaimed last night ?

              OR ISN'T HE ?

                .
you know what he meant man, he said it would be okay for Floyd to fight Martinez at a catch weight because Floyd wouldn't want to fight for the title which would be okay. no one has a problem with Manny having catch weight fights it's just that he does it for valid world titles and wants to legitimately call himself the champion there to pad his legacy

say what you want about Floyd every time he fought for a world title in a different weight class he allowed his opponent to weigh in at the full limit, he may not weigh the whole limit but he doesn't stop his opponent from it.

what Manny did is create his own weight class for 1 fight and actually got the champion of the weight closest to the one he created to defend it against him, there is no such thing as the 145lb Welterweight title, the Welterweight championship is a title that is to be contested at 147lb's, that's ONE FORTY SEVEN not 145 my dude

same in his last fight, he made the limit 150lb's but fights for a vacant 154lb title against someone who truly did not deserve to be there in terms of any serious rankings, it was a fight put together specifically to suit his agenda and THAT is what people have a problem with

                      Grow up kid.
When did Armstrong fight at a catchweight? Back then in order to move up & win a title at new weight class, a fighter had to move up to a new weight class & fight the top fighter in that weight class. Maybe you need to update your knowledge regarding boxing history.

There usually is not a fight night weight limit unless it is imposed and signed per contract. Pac vs Clottley did not reveal fight night weight and Clottley looked smaller than normal, so maybe team Pac & Arum placed/imposed fight night weight limitation on Clottley. Hey you might be on to something.
