Pac is so great that it doesn't matter if he's p4p #1. His opponents should have the advantage in every single department, no matter what.

    Pac is superman.

Forget that we're asking him to do more than any fighter in history.

    We're boxing fans.

We feel entitled to the brutal destruction of pacquiao's body by bigger and heavier men who he has no business fighting save for his own dogged determination and foolish courage.

pac beats martinez and then what?

*****s will say that he beat a mw and should have no problem fighting lucian bute for the super mw title.

*****s will keep going until we see pac-klitschko.

Their ignorance conceals the fact that pac will no longer be fighting his opponent's skill as a boxer but instead fighting against his size and physical stature as well.

    What a bittersweet thought.
pac won't fight him if he doesn't come in weight drained.

He hasn't faced anyone fresh yet .

    • Ha! Ha! Ha! Team Pacquiao & Pac are afraid to defend the title against the previous title holder at the legitimate weight limits.

This exposes the fraud "ARRANGED TITLE FIGHT" between Pac & Margarito . Neither Margarito or Pacquiao have any freaking history @ Super WW and should not have been fighting for the title between themselves. The only way Pac deserved a shot at the Super WW title, should have been by fighting a real Title Holder @ Super WW. These idoits are ruining boxing historynot creating it.

That's not a sign of a true champion.
What I don't understand is that consesus was that the title was BS and that neither fighter deserve the title. The only people that were giving Pac any type of credit for being a 8 division titlist were known as complete idiots.

However, now it seems as people want to proclaim him as a true 154 pound title holder when he clearly is not. The Ring and BoxingScene do not even have him ranked in the top 10 at 154. Because, it was known how bogus that title was. But, now people want to act like if he is a real 8 division title holder.

And, no he is not a true but if he was he doesn't have to defend the title. Whitaker and Floyd won titles at 154 and never defended it. Should they not get credit for it, What they did is more valid than what Pac did. Pac should not get credit for being a 154 pound title holder just cuz he didn't beat a title holder. But, should Whitaker not get credit because he vacated without defending it and went back to WW? That is just ridiculous after he beat a legit title holder at 154 without no catch-weight is just that he probably to small for 154 at the time.

But, Pac **** is lame cuz he is not a true title holder and I always thought that was known before the fight that neither fighter deserved the title and that neither should be called champ. How quick one week changes the perception.

Well, well, Sergio wants the fight.

Now we will see if Manny really is a JMW champion

And, as a number of Manny fans have pointed out over the last few days, Margarito beat Martinez easily, so this fight should be no problem for Manny

          And another thing.....
every level of tosser has crawled out-of-the-woodwork lately saying things like..... "Marquez is no good, Manny only wants top fights now".

          Well Manny, you got one.

If you really did become a JMW champ by beating an undeserving mediocre welterweight for a vacant title..... then it's time to STEP UP Manny.

          LMAO..... It will never happen.

The Top Rank propaganda machine will roll on.

Why do I feel this way after recently defending Manny?

Because 60 minutes aired in my country last night, and I was disgusted with what I saw. I hate Bob Arum with a vengence, and I am starting to dislike Manny as well. What is happening is not right, as a number of notable journalists have recently penned.

Thank god for guys like Rold, that keep it real no matter what, and will accurately record history.

STEP UP MANNY!! or your JMW title is as worthless as it appears to be.

many more fighters than Pacquiao have fought opponents way above their natural weightclass and had success.

Especially when you start calling him an all time great.

              • Pac said he ain't fighting at 154 anymore... too big for his frame that started at 106. I am sure Martinez camp knows about this and yet they call him at 154... hmmm, does this tell you something?

Nevertheless, I am pretty sure this fight can happen...
                160 at fight night

let us get on with it.

                • I remembered after the David Diaz fight some one was asking him if he was willing to fight at 140 and he said yes, then the guy ask again, how about 147? Manny's reply was a shook of his head meaning no. And now look how far Manny has gone. He may have said for now that he is not willing to fight beyond 147lbs anymore but time will only tell.

As expected, J comes with the goods. Great post!

And pretty much what I was trying to say...

Sure, what Floyd did was more legit, Oscar had the title, but Floyd never defended it. If folks are using that as logic for being legit (defending the title), then as you said, Floyd or Whitiker are not legit...And that would be silly to say.

Also, the bold is nothing but CHURCH!!!!

But now that Pac has stuck his foot in the water why not clear all this up once and for all. Now is the chance to prove whether the title is real or bogus. Now Pac has wrote a ticket that he's gonna need his ass to get him out of. Enough of the BS!!!!!!! Pac or Floyd has to accept Sergio's challenge or they should retire.
