Arthur Abraham and Carl Froch are living proof of that. In fact, the opposite proved to be true in both watching their “0” go – their first loss actually had an adverse effect on the men whom defeated them.

It remains to be seen where Andre Dirrell and Mikkel Kessler go in their respective careers, both having dropped out of the Showtime Super Six World Boxing Classic after their last fights.

Neither Abraham nor Froch seem particularly concerned with the fighting status of their respective conquerors. Nor is either of them stressing out over the fact that the loser of this weekend’s Stage Three bout in Helsinki, Finland will have endured his second consecutive loss.

The only thing on the minds of each this weekend is inflicting massive amounts of pain on the other.

From the moment this matchup was revealed, the anticipation was a Fight of the Year candidate whenever it finally goes down.

If the fight comes anywhere close to living up to the pre-fight hype and all of the trash talk offered by both fighters towards one another, boxing will have finally found its year-defining fight. [Click Here To Read More]

Great fight, I think its going to be a war, sucks that it falls on the same day as Kats-JMM and I got no DVR, f uck.

You can prob watch both. The Showtime telecast starts at 9PM ET, and AA-Froch will undoubtedly be first since it's tape-delay.

The HBO card starts at 9:45PM and is a tripleheader. By the time JMM-Kat enter the ring, AA-Froch will have been long done.

Froch is tough and some skill but I think Abraham gets through
and lays him out.
