i think froch did enough to keep his belt,, kessler got the nod because he was in his hometown.. this fight definitely has fight of the year potential but so did williams-martinez, and we all saw what happened there. i wouldnt be dissapointed if we saw another stunning ko like in the martinez fight.

I cannot wait till AA knocks u the fcuk out and wakes your dam ASS back into this reality! Cobra my ass, more like a little wanker living in a fantasy world thinking your the sole ruler ... wake up u jack ass!

It’s giving Froch way too much credit, since it was rather Wards head butting that caused his eye problems and/or as well the fact, that Kessler’s been a professional boxer in more then 10 years with 45 professional bouts under his belt.

I like Froch, but cannot see, how some (at least other then his fanboys) think he won the fight. I recognise that Froch at times had very good moments in the fight, but overall Kessler was the aggressor and scored more points then Froch did.

Froch is dreaming about a rematch and Kessler is not retired (he stated so himself not long ago in the Danish media), so let’s see what happens. I for one would pay good money to see a rematch, so why not.
yeah i agree.....kesslers bodywork won him the fight, it really ****ed the cobra up! but it was close....the thing with froch is, he is one of those really strong types, and despite being slow, he does have very heavy hands, i think you can argue froch did enough to make it a draw, kessler did not really give him a one sided beating, but he definatly edged it in my opinion!

As a froch fan, I would not be suprised if the king is the guy to provide that stunning KO unfortunatly!

I've said this before, but in case you haven't seen it - The fight is in Finland, if you are in the US you can watch it live in the afternoon (still not sure about the exact time) via an online stream. Then watch Katsidis in the evening. It's gonna be a good day.

For whatever reason, Showtime is being cryptic with the tiebreaker info, not wanting to reveal until after the fights are complete (I guess their excuse to set up another conference call).

There are a bunch of scenarios to be worked out. I can explain it here, but eff it, I will write a separate article about it

The only certainty is where Froch will rank. If he loses or draws, he's the #4 seed. If he wins, he's the #2 seed. The rest requires too much explanation, so look for a column tomorrow =)
