Either fight would be good, Cotto is a hittable target and Chavez Jr. and Margarito let their hands go.

Even if the Chavez Jr. fight turns out to be non-competitive, it would be a good action fight. Cotto would be smart to take that fight first because Margarito still has the chin and conditioning that wore him down mentally and physically in the first fight. I can see Cotto just fighting to survive in a rematch, if he can't hurt Margarito or stop him from coming forward. Steward is probably showing him how to hold, but I don't know if it'll be enough to beat Margarito after what he went through.

He should have no problem fighting Chavez in March and then Margarito in June. It would be the easiest 3 months in Cotto's career. I still don't think Arum will ever put Chaves in the ring with him though.

Thats a great plan either way. He should do wat ever he thinks is the easiest fight and then the winners face off and the losers in the undercard. I think either guy beats him cotto seems to have lost his punch resistance. It should be againts chavez though and put margarito againts foreman to see what he has left after the beating.

if cotto is smart,he'll face chavez first,more money,then margarito,i think cotto fight have an easier time with chavez,where margarito would be only a bit harder,not much,i do consider maragarito done,damaged goods and cotto is not far behind,he's also been in wars recently,but if cotto beats chavez but takes a lot of punishment,then i would call it an even fight between cotto and marg...both done

Great plan. Although to be honest, a Chavez vs Foreman fight intrigues me...
