And when Manny Steward calls Pac the finest and most complete boxer on the planet I tend to take his word over yours since he's actually qualified to make that claim.As for Berto againt Luis Collazo with his less than special handspeed was able to land clean blow after clean blow. Not the tell tale sign of a fighter with cat like reflexes. Berto has good handspeed head and shoulders above 90% of all other boxers but it's not the special speed that Pac has.

Manny is not a slow footed, uncoordinated, brawler with no hand speed and just comes at you in a straight line over and over again. Manny has more hand speed and athletic gifts then any AA fighter you can mention except for Floyd of course and even Floyd is probably only just as fast and just as athletically gifted as Pac so they are on even terms. So before you go buying into this whole Slick AA style ask yourself this. How is it supposed to work when the so called "brawler" they would be facing posseses greater hand speed, reflexes and footwork making it impossiable to avoid the punches? Isn't that the point of the slick AA style? Avoid avoid avoid! So what happens when you can't ***ing avoid whats coming at you because they are twice as fast as you? Sorry guys but there is not one Black fighter outside of Mayweather jr that is not at a disadvantage handspeed and footwork wise if they step into the ring with Pac! The slick style just doesn't work if you are the slower fighter.

I totally don't agree with Bernard because there is no one specific style for Black Americans. For example, Archie Moore, Joe Frazier, and Rock Marciano all had similar styles. If you look at Pernell Whitaker and Paulie Malignaggi you can see similarities in their south-paw style. De La Hoya and Mayweather have similar styles due to having the same trainer at one time. Beau Jacks style was taught to Mike Tyson by Who? Cuz Demato. Shane Mosley has a style that I can't think of any other fighter having and that is because his father invented it. Genetics only come into play when we are speaking of athletic ability and the better athlete the fighter is the more he is able to do in terms of footwork, hand/eye coordination, speed/power, etc. Some fighters are just pure athlete and you can tell that they could probably successful in other sports. On the other hand, some fighters are just fighters. Some of them have two left feet and they can barely jump rope or they are able to only do simple routines on the speed bag or double-end bag.
