It's just common sense, Top Rank should be choosing whom Pac's fight and not GBP. If Schaefer wants Pac to fight one of their fighters they have to convince PBF not JMM. The problem is they have no more fighters worth a Pacquiao fight.
So Schaefer don't give us this ****.

Pacquiao would easily fight Marquez but he said no one will pay to watch it. At this point in Pac's career its all about big money fights. Marquez aint a big money fighter. Never was.

Marquez did good numbers with Floyd. More than both the fights
he did with Manny. I would think that Manny would want to avenge
the controversy he has with Marquez instead of going for Floyd.
No matter what people think of JMM. He still had the tools to give
Manny hell even has a debatable draw and loss in two fights.
Pac has been fighting tailor made bouts, so who knows how he
would fair against a technician at this point.

If you read my post I am in no way claiming Cotto/Clottey to being ATGs. What I am getting at is climbing up divisions, no matter how tough/easy the opposition may seem, is not an easy feat. Just because Manny makes it look easy, does not make it fact. Pacquiao fought Cotto for several reasons, I don't see how that's a problem. Pacquiao couldn't fight Mosley*38 year old.. struggled boxing Mayorga..before lucky KO.. beat a weight-drained Marg..Mosley*(cause of Berto).. Not until after Pacquiao signed to fight Clottey did Mosley become available.

Again..Let us put Khan/JMM/Devon/Tim/Ortiz.. against the likes of Cotto/Clottey/Marg..

Better yet.. let's pull Katsidis up to fight ODLH at WW.. yank him back down to JWW to fight hatton.. pull him back up to WW and fight Cotto.. then Clottey.. and finish that line up by fighting Marg at a CW at JMW..

The last 3 or so years he went through 4 divisions..
