Mayweather has no where else to go for the money he can make with Pac, son. Unless maybe if you feed your pretty boy to Martinez.

simply not true. He made $40 mil plus fighting Mosley @ 1.4 buys.

He can make 30-$40 million getting 70% against any fighter he can do over a mil with.

A fight with Cotto at 147 or 154 would do more than 1 million buys. It would prob do over 1.4. Cotto would prob accept 40% or 35%.

A fight with Martinez would do over a million. Martinez getting 30%.

A fight with Khan or any viable 140 pounder would prob hit a million.

He's got plenty of money options.

Yea but... if he fights Cotto he'd be picking on Manny's left overs and lose. He ducked Cotto years ago by retiring once, he isn't about to fight Cotto under Steward now. Also... anyone who fights doesn't matter unless its Manny. Even Mayweather said its about his legacy and even if all his nuthuggers fans are right and everyone else is wrong, without Manny Floyd will ALWAYS ALWAYS be looked at as the guy who said he was the best but never tried to prove it. I mean Jesus, even if Manny is beating up bums he gives us a reason to keep talking about him. Floyd does the same but beating up his wife and security guards is not the way to build up his ATG status. Granted, both were tougher fights than just about anyone Floyd has faced but still.

This is not only good, but great, why?

Early unofficial report was expected at around 1.4 mil, but this time it's already official & it has come up w/ high result & expected to reach at least 1.2-1.25... This is not only good, but great, why? In the first place over a million PPV buys is already a great success cause few boxing fights & matches has done it (Dela Hoya w/ other fighters, Tyson w/ others, Holyfield w/ others, Floyd w/ others & Pacquiao w/ others) considering both were non-American boxers...In a pre-fight, there were lots of downside considerations like Margarito as viewed undeserving to fight Pacquiao, as a cheater, denied license to fight in Las Vegas, was knock out by Moseley, has less chance to win and because of reality Margarito was clearly shown as a 6-1 underdog against Pac, if it was an even expectation among the boxing world then I'm sure the outcome is much higher...We could see here that Margarito was only supported by his fellow Mexicans, but still the result was great because of Pacs PPV power...

many did 1.25 with oscar floyd did 2.2 with oscar. floyd did 1.1 with marquez manny did 400,000 with marquez. it has nothing to do with race color or anything. floyd is the bigger draw hands down. if floyd fought margirito he would have done 1.4 or higher

                    ALL ROADS LEAD TO FLOYD
Uhh, Mosley has been involved in major PPVs prior to him fighting 'Rita. Whereas 'Rita has not had any at all.

You're comparing a guy who has had major exposure by fighting the king of all PPVs(De La Joto 2xs).

                      whats the debate about?

The guy who sells the most PPV's is still mayweather. thats a fact so y the arguing?

Anyway it was great numbers from manny and plaster. I understand to some dudes on here math goes; 1>2 but it doesnt work like that in the financial world, and even if mannys next fight outsells 1.5 milli(doubtful unless its may) their PPV history would still show mayweather to be greater.

**katt stacks voice** Any way though, Mayweather would be a fool business wise to give manny 50%. No 1 currently deserves that with mayweather.
