Martinez is almost the EXACT same size as Margarito.

Oh man, they want him dead? That was a good one, I'm literally laughing over here.

I think Pac will fight Martinez in due time, let him rest first, after fighting 165 lb margarito. How about the one who is always on vacation, can he fight at least marg or martinez?

While it was great to see a great little man put in work on a good big man I have to believe once was enough for them.

to me that's not a duck or a cherry pick. It was a chance to see what it's like, they didn't like and want to move back down to a more manageable weight. Hell the mere facet that he went into a Jr Middleweight fight well below the welterweight limit should indicate that
            good post. ditto.

Martinez killed himself to make 158, there is no way Pac's team let the weight limit be anything higher then 154. The fight wont happen.

Who are we to demand Pac jump yet another weight class to fight Martinez for the 160 title. He is already pushing his limits to fight this high.

Personally, I think Pac beats Martinez anyway but I'd much rather see him fight Floyd.

Why fight Cotto at 145 lbs? yet he fought DLH at 147 and Clottey at 147? why not fight at 154 for the WBC belt? why a catchweight of 150 lbs? of course it sounds right because Tony always fought at 147 and therefore "the 3 lbs will benefit him" right? that's the cop out.

I love watching Pac fight, he's one of the most exciting fighters ever but to say his career as of late hasn't been meticuosly arranged it's just being delusional or simply a fanboy. Money talks, that's why all these fighters agreed to his rules and because they are fighters in the end, and they all thought they could win.
understandable, then stop using the excuses that they were weight drained. they knew what they were getting into going into the fight. im just tired of the same ol' excuses that they were weight drained. If the outcome was different and manny lost would the same excuses still be used?

So a fighter who has been a WW for almost 3 years and his 4 division in those 3 years, he is cherrypicking or ducking, or whatever you want to call it, a MW?

                  Sounds logical.

I really don't see how, Martinez beats that ass IMO. Just too big, too talented, too good.

Pac at 150 is more like just a limited view, we know they dont want him to go any higher. The dude belongs in Jr WW. As much as I like pac he would get obliterated at 154+, and Sergio will not be able to make any lower than 156. So just leave it as is.

Let it go. Thats how the COOKIE crumbles.
