i don't really buy into ether fighters HYPE. as you can see they have always fought sloppy with their hands down. martinez is just more technical then willams.

at this point i take multiple middleweights over both of these guys. they are FAR from the p4p best middleweight in the world.

Daniel Geale would EAT both of them.......

It was a lucky punch as you can see. There needs to be a rematch.

In that case, 90% of all KOs were lucky.
And what about Serg says "Fundamental".... Take it and roll with it homie, it is what it is............
        Good job Serg!
P Will, box and keep those hands up next time out...

I'm assuming you are not serious but in the event that you actually believe Dan Geale would beat Sergio Martinez you should immediately terminate your life.

I don't consider any punch in boxing "lucky". It is clear that the boxers intent is to discombobulate, stun, hurt, stop, or KO the opponent. That's what they do. That's what Martinez did.

There is no luck in that.

It's called a OVER HAND LEFT you moron. Fighters have been countering with over hand rights/lefts since boxing started. Brawlers especially.
Also, 90% of the time the guy with the shorter over hand right or left (depending if their southpaw or orthodox) will get get there first.

Sergio was shorter with that punch every time they fought. Sergio was shorter and quicker with just about every punch, including his hooks against Williams.

People are forgetting that this was the SECOND time in a row that Sergio completely carved up Williams.

So stop acting like it was the first.

Exactly he landed it at least 3 times in the 2nd round alone BEFORE the KO.
