Yes Arum...You can do it once in a while, ocassionally like with Margarito who was "big" but slow, but not with a big but "fast" Sergio Martinez. Yes make Martinez dehydrate at 155 and still call it for the Middleweight Championship. Bull****.

if manny train right and freddy got the right game plan for manny i dont see why manny cant pull off a win against martinez even at martinez weight! sergio martinez KO paul williams and all of a sudden he's the best? LOL! if manny is able to land all those clean hits p.williams landed on martinez during their 1st match up u better believe it'll be a different outcome. it wont be an easy win but manny can pull it off. im not falling for that martinez hype!

Of course it'll end up being him though...
and that fight will end in a ko victory for shane. there is a reason why arum and roach will never let pac fight shane. pac is taylor made for shane and will meet a brutal beat down ko at shanes hands. plus pac cant ko the iron chined mosley. and shanes hand and foot speed will enable him to end pacs run. styles make fights and pacs style walks him right into a shane left hook right cross combo. margo hurt him in the six, shane kills him by 8

Or is Pacquiao the only person capable of getting better with age and experience?

Using Margarito as the "bar" of how he would perform against Martinez is ******.

Martinez has many advantages over Margarito

His Defense is very good - he can slip punches which Margs can not
He has much faster hands - the handspeed isn't even comparable
He is not "shot" but is in the prime of his career
He is a "slick" southpaw who can mix it up on the inside

The only thing he and Marg's have in common is their size.

from the get go instead of making catchweight title fights.
Martinez brought them down to reality.
whats up grust!!!! the bad thing is, paul was fighting a good fight. until he took a big dose of segio ambien that put him right to sleep. arum will never put pac in with martinez because he can box and has power. he dosnt come foward with his face hanging out. and he is a very good counter puncher. all pacs last fight have been vs no defense all offense type fighters that are not too fast.

as far i can see...the more they are trying to match up pacman vs martinez....would probably sat down to martinez vs margo for second time around....for publicity sake...they would say the revenge for his first lost in his career....lol

Yeah, Pac can beat Martinez at 147 but at 154 or 160, Martinez knocks Pac out.
