The whole argument of his size is just so much of a mismatch and unfair is such bull. If we truly think this then, perhaps lets petition to get Lebron out of the NBA. I mean its not fair that he has size, speed, and athletic ablility like no one else, and no one can guard him. Its just not fair.....Or is this completely different?

im 5'7 / 28 and i weigh 180lbs...i exercise and lift weights now and then (not daily, but when i feel like it)...im not ripped, but i do have some tone...a year ago i weight 165...i gained 15 lbs in a year...
and knowing that a 6'3" boxer wanting to go back to welterweight after havent fought in that division in years makes me laugh...its kinda like me wanting to fight guys closer to 5ft that weights only 150...im not that lowComment

i say he should try to redeem his lost against martinez and use the results from that fight to aid in his decision to stay at middleweight or not. yeah he got knocked out but that doesnt mean martinez is the overall better fighter. he just caught him with a good counter. i mean it happens alot in boxing. he just has to learn from his mistakes, regroup, and try for a third fight. it makes sense given the fact they both have a victory against each other now.Comment

basically he's saying pwill ain't ***** unless he beating up on midgets.According to promoter Dan Goossen, Paul "The Punisher" Williams may be returning to the welterweight division for a while. Last Saturday in Atlantic City, Williams was knocked out in two rounds by WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez. Since 2008, Williams has been taking fights at 154 and 160-pounds. Williams' height of 6'3, and 81-inch reach, made it very difficult to land fights at welterweight. He moved up to find bigger game. Goossen plans to speak with Williams, and managers George Peterson and Al Haymon, about another welterweight run.

why not? why isn't he the better fighter? he went toe to toe with williams last year and it was a close fight,if williams was better he would have easily domintated him..then he gets ko in 2....he also fought cintron and beat him,i think martinez is the better fighter,he hits just as hard as williams, has better skills, better defensei say he should try to redeem his lost against martinez and use the results from that fight to aid in his decision to stay at middleweight or not. yeah he got knocked out but that doesnt mean martinez is the overall better fighter. he just caught him with a good counter. i mean it happens alot in boxing. he just has to learn from his mistakes, regroup, and try for a third fight. it makes sense given the fact they both have a victory against each other now.Comment

Williams and his team just don't get it. I said a while ago Williams would have been better of just coming out and saying 154-160 is too much weight for me. Even though he still would have trouble getting fights at 147 he wouldn't look like such a fool with all his the most feared and avoided man in boxing talk. Even so called boxing minds and promoters can't see the forest for the trees sometimes.Comment

It's very difficult to hold much respect for a guy and team that prefers to live running on plastics for ever in order to avoid fighting his size. It's just too hard. Williams is NOT one of the elite or belongs to the 6 top ranked Middleweights, so lets starve you to the bone and match you against Welterweights.
