  • Someone remade this a few months ago and it was about 55/45 Pac/May...but if bumping 3 year old polls from before KTFO6 helps you guys sleep at night, so be it. I still rate Manny slightly above Floyd, but KTFO6 has brought the margin closer together than ever and Manny is finished while Floyd has a few fights left in him probably. I say wait and see. Pac has the better resume for now, but Floyd was clearly the more skilled fighter of the two.

    • Pac, by a sizable margin
Floyd's still going, maybe 2 yrs left, and Pac is done
that would help Floyd in this race if a murderer's row was there
but Floyd doesn't have the opponents to catch up to him
and even if he did, he'd find ways to skate around it anyway

      • When someone admitted he cherry picked his fights to his advantage and confessed he ducked dangerous fights because his health must come first then told us he is a coward but a rich coward. At least if you are not the low iq floydiots it's no brainer of course.

          • The only thing that Floyd beat Manny is his catchweight

mayweather haters are like zombies. you slay one of'em and here comes another one. still doesn't make the zombies stronger than the slayer tho.
well, in a way...to be outgunned is to be outwitted....

if an adversary (in war or in arguments) was well-armed than you...then you at the on-set is already outgunnned and also outwitted....

the fact that you asked by whom proves you are outwitted BY ME....he he he....

anyway, carry on....your giving us some good punches too

                • I think what's really significant is that the career of Floyd Mayweather has included the rise and fall of Manny Pacquiao, yet Floyd is still the best fighter on the planet. That says a lot to me. Surely though, Manny could rise from the shambles of his career but is it likely?

The way I see it Floyd has had one rival to whom he has succumb countless times, and its himself.....

i could disagree with the above as the very simple point that pbf's career included the rise and fall of pac yet pbf has got nothing to do with pac's fall.........

on the contrary, pac's name will always be foremost in the names of fighters pbf avoided............

I'm not trying to conflate their careers or suggest one has to do with the other. I'm simply pointing out Floyd is still flourishing while Manny clearly isn't. And the wave of emotion that accompanied Manny has subsided like a wave that just crested. I think that's noteworthy......

Manny Pacquiao will continue to be the illusion some "fans" hide behind because they can't accept anything that isn't "humble" or "emasculated." They need a hero that suites their sensibilities and I'm completely okay with that, I just wish they were a little more honest about it.
