In a recent story on BoxingScene.com, Lem Satterfield revealed that undefeated WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto is being considered as a choice for Filipino star Manny Pacquiao’s next fight. Berto’s promoter Lou Dibella talked to Bob Arum earlier this week and if Pacquiao doesn’t end up facing off with Floyd Mayweather this summer, which seems likely as the Las Vegas-based superstar has a lot on his plate at the moment, then the Haitian-American could get the call.

This is a good fight. I have doubts about Berto winning it but he does have very fast hands which would make this a lot more intriguing than the Margarito fight. Mosley lost so clearly to Mayweather that I have no interest seeing him against Pac.


I give Shane a pass for the Mora fight because I thought he won against a big opponent with an ugly and difficult style.

the 154 lbs title is a paper title. He has no intention of defending it. Until you accept this you will never be satisfied.

im satistfied but its all the mega pac fans brag on!!! Thats really my only thing but if they want to brag on that title then why not support him in defend it, he has a title at 154 well fight the best in that division!!!! We know floyd dosent want belts for the reason of not having to defend them and paying extra cash, but pac did it for bragging rights and his fans should not brag on that!!! he shouldnt even be recognized for it! Berto has been knocked down and off balance from punches but never seriously hurt. He makes alot of errors but the fact that he is so fast, hungry, and not battle damaged makes him a dangerous opponent. No way Pac is fighting him next.

deep down inside poochie fans know he's a fraud! that's why they get scared at the thought of him fighting a live body...the only reason they get excited for a mayweather poochie fight is 2 see mayweather lose...not knowing that's the worse person you could put manny in the ring with....floyd would whoop his a$$ thoroughly...but peoples blind hate for floyd bypasses this fact!
