Nah man. Martinez has been far more impressive
against competition than Manny. Manny fought fighters
not on his level. Martinez has been a very good fighter
for a long time. This KO over Paul Williams just sealed
the deal on how great this guy is. No way could that
be denied. Pavlik and Williams? Come on man. You
can't front on that.

No way. Martinez fought a totally different fight then he did
in his prior bouts. Martinez would blow Pac up and beat Floyd,
if Floyd didn't get aggressive and take risk. Martinez can box
really well, has power and durability. Martinez would have to
get careless against Pac to lose. Pac wouldn't be peppering
Martinez up like he did to his last opponents and we all know
that Pac does major damage when he is constantly connecting.
On top of that! Pac's speed advantage would be nullified. Floyd
would have to engage Martinez and open him up because it would
be too technical between the two. Someone would have to take
the fight to the other and Martinez seems to have big power.

I don't know bro. I still am not sold on Martinez, yet anyway. I still find he does sloppy things in there that a top fighter would take advantage of. Beating Pavlik and Williams, while impressive, simply has not sold me because Pavlik simply is not healthy and Williams was showing signs of too much wear and tear even in their first encounter.

Things like the hands down and circling in the wrong direction into his opponents dominant hand is risky business. It will work against fighters who generally square up, but not against a fighter who can master positioning.

i think your going a lil overboard on martinez and his boxing skills. Your making it seem like pac and floyd are just bums off the streets. Pac and floyd can beat martinez and martinez can also beat either of the 2. Who ever is the better well prepare boxer that night will take it. So hop off martinez nuts already.

I would say Floyd has a shot but Manny doesn't. The thing that
makes me different from you is that, Floyd Mayweather Jr
was my favorite fighter and now Martinez took his spot with
the win over Paul. Shows I am on nobodies nuts because
that is what being a fan of boxing is about not favortism.
Manny is probably the only one you will ever respect as a fighter.

Williams was still not in that really good status yet. His wins were at low weights mainly and ofcourse his height played a part

I always thought Sergio Martinez was a good fighter
and has been improving. Paul's never been knocked
out and he is still primed. First fight they fought in
was a war and in the rematch Martinez corrects his
mistakes and blows Paul out the water. That guy
has skills and shouldn't be denied.
